Skyline is based on my experiences in Chicago where I lived for three months for an internship with Eighth Blackbird, Third Coast Percussion, and Ensemble Dal Niente. The three movements focus on the surroundings of Lake Michigan, the subway system and traffic in the Loop, and the suburban neighborhoods that surround the Chicago skyline.
