Composed for the speedwriting concert during the 2015 Charlotte New Music Festival

Compact Bricks was inspired by the structure of Queens University of Charlotte. Almost every building that stands in QUC is made of bricks. That said, this piece is more of a brief dedication of what QUC represents.
